Somebody has to pay for it. when you demand something be free, all you are doing is transferring the costs to someone else. You are saying "I want it - but I don't want to work for it".

Any economy founded on those principles ends up turning into a state where someone with a gun is pointing it at a worker, telling them to labour so someone else gets stuff for free.
