A few questions (random)

1: Who was your first major celebrity crush? Kate Bush - hasn't really ended

2: What's the most embarrassing thing that's happened to you in the past week? Probably falling over - i do that a lot due to medical reasons, but it's always humiliating.

3: What are your three favorite things about your appearance? Cheekbones, eyes, currently i like my beard.

4: What is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you? Gave me shelter when I was homeless.

6: What is the last thing you purchased? Meals for my niece and mother at a cafe - it was all a bit of a disaster, which was sad as I rarely see my niece and the cafe (Oasis at Erina) is usually reliable.

7: How many hours did you sleep last night? Maybe 5? I need about 8 and haven't had enough for a long time. It makes me vague - I feel like i have alzheimer's.

8: If you could go on a date with any of your mutuals, who would it be and what would you do? Just one? I can't really imagine dating anyone - as i said, disabled, and the ones I like are all taken, alas. There's one person who's left here who I would have liked to have had as a lover. Very, very strong attraction - but maybe it would have been a disaster.

9: How did you meet your best friend? High School - but we have drifted away now. I've been very isolated since I moved up near Gosford - not really a lot of options for socialising here, and poor health makes travel difficult.

10: What was your favorite band five years ago? Radiohead or Placebo - possibly Pink Floyd.

11: Where did you get each article of clothing you're wearing right now? Lowes probably

13: What's your most irrational fear? My fears are all rational at the moment.

15: If you could rock any unusual article of clothing/makeup technique/hairstyle, what would it be? Wearable computers. Google glasses, that sort of thing.

16: What is your dream job? Writer.

18: How old were you when you had your first kiss? I think the first one that counts was 11; a girl took me by surprise and french kissed me. It was wonderful.

21: What three fictional characters would you most like to meet? Meet, not fuck? Damn! Ok, an AI from The Culture (preferably one able to give me the benefits e.g. repaired body). Fuck - Summer Glau's and Shirley Manson's terminators upgraded to have a libido, an interest in me and an ability to enjoy it. There's been a few fictional characters I would gladly have married but I can't think of them offhand. I've fallen for women from dreams, too.

22: What are three things you're looking forward to? The first coffee tomorrow after a sleep, and the next two coffees!

23: What are your three biggest turn ons certain BDSM scenarios, I like the thought of being seduced and pretending to resist and I also am very aroused by women who can play the subbie for me. Oh, and women who roleplay (as in dice) - awesome.

And finally - smart women - i remember a lecturer at an open day at Sydney Uni who was somewhere late 40s or maybe even fifties - she was brilliant, and rather complimentary - I would have gladly fucked her on her desk. And other places ;-)

Oh, and Melina Kanakaredes in a backless dress. I saw her at some award ceremony and it left an impression. I really, really wanted her to seduce/force me into having anal sex whilst she's standing and wearing a dress like that, only more daring. Yes, that's absurd. I DON'T CARE - I WANT IT!(*grin*)

Argh.

"three biggest turn offs? "

Receiving pain/humiliation, having an obese or cruel partner

24: If you could only own five material objects (not counting life necessities like food/water/a house/etc) what would they be? Computer/internet, mp3 player, backpack, a billion dollars legally mine, and ... does Summer Glau's terminator count as an object?

26: What's the last movie you watched? The last Hobbit movie. It was ok, don't need to see it again, tho'

27: What are three things you like about yourself unrelated to your appearance? Integrity, intelligence, I can write a mean sentence some days

28: How do you take your coffee? Fast.

DPP rules all men are now rapists

So much for "Innocent until proven guilty". Feminists just destroyed 1500 years of legal principle.

The Director of Public Prosecutions said it was time for the legal system to move beyond the concept of “no means no”

Really? Despite the idea that adults are able to articulate yes or no, and this is reducing women to the status of children? Because it only casts women as victims here, and men as victimisers. It's very clear they want to prosecute men - lots of them! Perhaps they have a motive other than justice?

"Men accused of date rape will need to convince police that a woman consented to sex"

How? Whereabouts is the bar? Do they need a written contract? Will a witness be required? A Justice of the Peace?

In no other area of the law would they be vague about the required method of obeying the law.

"Prove you're innocent!" is something we abandoned with witch-hunts and show-trials. It's very clear there's no way to prove you're innocent; once accused, the lynching can begin.

"Alison Saunders said rape victims should no longer be “blamed” by society if they are too drunk to consent to sex"

Note she never defines how drunk is too drunk. One glass of wine? We don't have that vagueness for motor vehicles or heavy machinery. Can there be any innocent reason for phrasing a law in such an inept manner? Or is it more likely to have been chosen in order to persecute men?

And, of course, she never addresses the case where two people drink equally then have sex - the logical paradox of having people simultaneously be rape victims and rapists never seems to occur to her.

Either she cheated through her exams and did a lot of favours to get her qualifications  - or she is corrupt, and is knowingly passing corrupt legislation.

" “a suspect held a position of power over the potential victim - as a teacher, an employer, a doctor or a fellow gang member”"

So it's rape if you have sex with your boss? Even if you chased them, you can destroy them as your rapist? Even if they had recordings that was your plot - she has no problems with that?

And "a fellow gang member”??? A peer is.. in her warped mind ... a superior?

HOW DOES THAT EVEN WORK?

Of course, the subtext is " a MALE gang member with a FEMALE ”

Because women are weak and feeble, and even if they say yes, it secretly means no.

THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM A MALICIOUS WOMAN UNDER THESE LAWS.

Let's look at her definition of victimisation:

"The ability to consent to sex should also be questioned where the complainant has mental health problems"

MOST PEOPLE HAVE THOSE AT SOME TIME OR ANOTHER.

We do not describe such people as incapable of making decisions. If you sign a contract and were a bit depressed - you are still liable! You have to be very seriously ill for the court to regard you as incapacitated.

Yet she wants any woman to say "it doesn't matter that i was recorded shouting yes every 30 seconds; i secretly meant no because i saw a nasty message on twitter!"

The new guidance also covers domestic violence situations and those where “the complainant may be financially or otherwise dependent on their alleged rapist”.

Yep, if someone is financially dependent on YOU, YOU ARE RAPING THEM.

But wait! Maybe I'm misreading the gender bias here! Surely the law will be applied fairly?

"Around 85,000 women per year are victims of rape in the UK, of whom 90 per cent know the perpetrator. The most recent figures showed that just 15,670 women reported rapes to the police"

Ok, they just made up a number, because saying 85000 women were raped required omniscience - there's 15,670 reports, and a lot go unproven - so 1,070 convictions resulting from the 2,910 cases that got to court means 1,070  CONVICTIONS PROVEN, NOT 85000!

No mention of men being raped. Not an option in their minds. There's no chance they don't have in mind how this law is to be applied. Men are wicked - women are saints.

"The rape conference was designed partly to address the long-standing gulf between rape allegations and conviction"

Well yes - like in the Soviet Union, every accusation will automatically carry a conviction. It will simplify matters. Perhaps they'll provide weeping confessions on television, before they have them shot.

"Compare victims' reports of rape with women's reports of sex. They look a lot alike....[T]he major distinction between intercourse (normal) and rape (abnormal) is that the normal happens so often that one cannot get anyone to see anything wrong with it." -- Catharine MacKinnon, quoted in Christina Hoff Sommers, "Hard-Line Feminists Guilty of Ms.-Representation," Wall Street Journal, November 7, 1991.

Censorship of gamergate comments by the ABC News (US)

From A Voice for Men & Women who Support the MRM & Oppose Feminism

Here is a image link to the deleted comments by ABC news for the gamer gate Anita Sarkeesian video.

A daily reminder that the mainstream media is never to be trusted, they are not on our side and from day one have done everything in their power to undermine and humiliate us or anyone else who speaks against SJWs/feminist and other professional victims.

Caitlin Stasey is a lying, hypocritical slut - and this is the face of Feminism?

This women is promoting her soft porn site as being 'empowering', and it is praised as 'courageous' by other feminists.

You know what courage is?

You know what isn't brave? Taking your clothes off. Worse, calling it brave degrades all the achievements of the genuine heroes.

http://herself.com/caitlin/

"I know it troubles many people for me to refer to myself as a lesbian considering I have a male partner."

Yes. Because that is not what a lesbian is. Bisexuality IS a thing.

"it was just understood that I was born cisgendered"

It is just understood because it is the most likely result. Transgendered people are rare. Assuming someone isn't until proven otherwise is a rational response.

"No one anywhere ever should EVER be able to tell a woman what is right for her body regarding her reproductive rights."

Equally, no man should ever be forced to labour for a woman's reproduction - if she wants a child without his consent, why must he pay for her happiness? That is not justice, and an egalitarian movement would never support that inequity.

"Contraceptives should be free"

Why just contraceptives? Toilet paper is important, as is water, food, shelter, clothing... heck, why not just say everything should be free.

BECAUSE REALITY DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.

Somebody has to pay for it. when you demand something be free, all you are doing is transferring the costs to someone else. You are saying "I want it - but I don't want to work for it".

Any economy founded on those principles ends up turning into a state where someone with a gun is pointing it at a worker, telling them to labour so someone else gets stuff for free.

"Women are fucking durable & powerful."

Yet can fall apart if someone wears a shirt with pictures of women on it, or calls them 'bossy'. That's not strong. That's not durable. That is WEAK.

And that's what Feminism teaches women to be - ultra-fragile, always ready to take offense, shrieking like the Princess and the Pea over the least inconvenience.

"What are your feelings on monogamy?
It’s so pointless, painful & archaic."

I often point out that Feminism wants the destruction of marriage. Feminists tell me it's a myth; i then point to quotes by feminists saying otherwise; they respond by telling me they aren't TRUE feminists.

Well, is she not a TRUE feminist? Because that's hilarious!

"Do women treat you differently than men?
Women are more empathic, considered, honest & tactile. The more I experience the men the more I’m experiencing their bias & privilege."

Right. She's a man-hater. Tell me again that feminists don't hate men. Tell me again that feminist don't see women as superior to men.

"the constant pursuit of women by strange men"

Maybe the word 'constant' is confusing to her? Because when real women are filmed on the street - they do not have men following them all the time, or even most of the time, and, oddly enough - it was MEN that made that behaviour ILLEGAL.

"How do you define feminism?
As a group of people pushing forward to total & inarguable equality."

LIAR! You just said that women were better.

"ANIMAL FARM" WAS NOT A GUIDE AS TO HOW TO BEHAVE.

"If being a woman, by today’s standards, benefits you then you aren’t benefiting."

That's gibberish. If something is benefiting you - YOU ARE BENEFITED.

Was she high during this? Or had some section of her brain been removed by her hate-cult during indoctrination?

"my kindness & flirtation were grounds to expect sex from me"

Well, it's certainly not kind to give off mixed signals, it's manipulative, it's called being a bitch, and I've seen women who do that to other women too - and those women are hated just as much.

It's a shitty thing to do to people. Caitlin Stasey is a horrible, amoral, self-entitled bitch, and I genuinely hope she realises it one day.

"How do you feel about the media’s portrayal of women?
It depicts us as sexless unless corrupt"

Uh huh. so we'll just ignore all the naughty but nice girls throughout the history of cinema now, shall we?

" hairless unless masculine "

Yes, men are hairy compared to women, and so it's hardly surprising that men sexually select for women with less body hair. women with excess body hair usually have hormonal problems, causing difficulties with fertility.

BIOLOGY IS NOT OPPRESSING YOU.

" helpless unless evil"

There's been kick-ass women in media since the invention of film. This woman is a professional victim. She does not want to see anything positive in the world when it's done by men, she hates us that much she's willing to erase all the heroines of media history.

" We’re not allowed to be gross "

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roseanne

"intelligent"

If you look at couples, the man is usually portrayed as stupid and the woman much more intelligent. See "Family Guy", "The Simpsons", http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WomenAreWiser

"How do you think the world at large views women?
As mothers, sluts, virgins, or wives."

And yet it keeps putting them in charge of nations, gives them sniper rifles and tanks, awards them Nobel Prizes, sends them into space...

Oh wait. Maybe she's from some alternate dimension. Because, ON THIS PLANET, it's nothing like that.

"Have you ever experienced sexism or sexual harassment within a workplace?
...A woman once called me a slut, I assume as a joke, and I’d never even once spoken to her."

THAT IS NEITHER HARASSMENT NOR IS IT SEXISM. It is an expression of a negative opinion. She thinks you sleep around. WHICH YOU DO. YOU SAID THAT YOU DID THAT. DO YOU NOT HEAR YOURSELF.

"How have you dealt with conflict?
By flipping out & raging."

Yep, that does not surprise me in the least. Her sort love to lash out and then blame the nearest man for their violence. I pity that poor boy in her life. http://www.helpguide.org/articles/abuse/help-for-abused-men.htm

"Have you ever been verbally abused or threatened because of your gender?
I’m sure I’m only cat called because I’m a woman

Since feminists classify 'hello' as cat calling (not kidding, see the video where a model walks the streets, it's counted as harassment when someone wishes her a good day), then yes, I'm sure her life is one endless round of weeping.

So what happens when a man of equivalent attractiveness does the same thing?

Oh.

The same thing happens.

It's almost like this had nothing to do with gender and everything to do with the fact that attractive individuals get a lot of attention. Gosh. But she only cares when it happens to woemn - because she really does love equality, don't you believe her?

" and verbally thrashed online because I’m a woman"

No, it's because you are a hypocrite, a liar and, as you pointed out, a slut.

You are also a proud prick-tease. I don't know if you beat your partner too, but frankly, it wouldn't surprise me.

" I once had a man stalk me for over a year"

I'm so sorry for him. What if he had caught up to you?

Women stalk men - and other women. Again, it's not a gender issue.

"What are you feelings on motherhood?
On one hand it’s overrated I’m sure & expected of us and on the other I’m sure it’s magical. I don’t believe a nuclear family is conducive to wholesomeness or fullness so motherhood as a concept is changing. A mother and father can be combined in one individual & I think gendered parenting is on the out."

What's that, Feminists? Feminism ISN'T AGAINST THE FAMILY? That's a myth spread by it's enemies?

She's against the family. Are you saying... she's not a TRUE feminist?

"Women – Love each other, support each other, defend each other."

But not men, of course - they are the 'other'. A lot of hate groups work that way. they are very loving to the in-group - and place the responsibility for all evil at the feet of those outside.

May her life be short and unpleasant, and on her passing, may it's bile and spite be soon forgotten.

What do real feminists do?

blackjackgabbiani said: I have actual, real-world experience as a feminist, doing real political work, and the way you claim that it's ignorance to say that the anti-equality people aren't feminists is garbage. They AREN'T feminists because they don't work for equality. They don't meet the one single definition required for it. Egalitarianism is a whole made of parts, and feminism is in fact one of those parts. Claiming that people don't know what they're talking about just because they disagree with you is crappy.

draumbouy-deactivated20150111:

WHAT AN ADORABLE LITTLE ANECDOTE.

now lets all snap back to reality here and look at FACTS.

let’s look at what real feminism has done in the real world.

Now, theres no question that feminists did some great things for womens rights. but they’ve also done a whole lot of bad for both genders as well, especially in recent years.

many of the first feminists where white supremacists.

feminist have campaigned and fought against equality for both genders on many occasions

many feminist leaders were borderline genercidal. In fact Valerie Solanas, who helped to shape modern patriarchy theory, and who’s writing is still taught today in womens studies classes, not only attempted to assassinate Andy Warhol, but also wrote a book called the S.C.U.M. Manifesto (or feminist Mein Kompf), which was about gendercide, and she is still hailed as a feminist hero to this day. this book is still used in womens studies classes despite the fact that it proposes reducing the male population to 10% and using them for breeding purposes.

Now i know what you’re gonna say, NOT ALL FEMINISTS.

Feminism is a political movement. It has leaders. The rest of the people who join it, like the bloggers on tumblr, inherently support them by supporting feminism. Its not a big enough party to have multiple sects. Political parties motives are determined not by the supporters, but by the people who lead them, the people who do fundraisers, and organize protests, and slutwalks. The people who create the propaganda. The ones who write the literature, and who teach the women’s studies courses and plan their curriculums. Those people are far more influential than a sixteen year old with a blog and a few hundred followers.

The thing is, even your definition of feminism is wrong. The name itself should tell you that this is a gendered movement. Im assuming you’re going by the Websters definition.

Now im gonna do a breakdown on why even by its very definition feminism isnt for equality.

  1. That link will take you to the ACTUAL definition of Feminism. now Websters did in fact say sexes but its secondary definition said
“organized activity on behalf of women’s rights and interests" which even by Websters is still in favor of women. The oxford english dictionary also says that feminism is indeed about women.
You are probably asking yourself why this is even a problem. Aren’t women the ones who still need rights? Well see that may have been true twenty years ago but now it really isn’t. The main problem with the definition of feminism is that it enforces this idea that men live in some ideal world that women should want to live in. Idealizes our situation has the negative effect of erasing our problems. So even by its very definition feminism is already fucking up the idea of equal treatment and consideration.
men actually have less rights than women. men are also demonized as rapists due to unequal rape laws that favor women. when you analyze the situation you’ll find that women rape almost as often as men (about 40% of rapists are women) and men are raped just as often if not more than women.

Men want protection against false rape allegations. They feel that a man’s life should not be ruined simply on the allegation of a woman who may be a vindictive liar. Currently, a woman can accuse a man of rape for no reason, and the man’s name is splashed in the paper and his life is ruined. So, they fought for laws granting men anonymity until charged with the crime of rape—not convicted, just charged.

Feminists fought against this, causing it to fail. Also see here, the London Feminist Network campaigning to defeat the proposal.

Men want an end to the justice system favoring women simply because they are women, and giving men harsher sentences simply because they are men.

Feminists fought against this, arguing that no woman should be sent to jail, even women who had murdered multiple people.

Men want equal treatment when victims of domestic violence, and to not be arrested for the crime of “being male” under primary aggressor policies.

Feminists fought against this by trying to suppress evidence showing that half of domestic violence is done by women, by threatening the researchers with bomb threats, death threats, etc. Modern, younger feminists are doing it as well.

The feminist definition of domestic violence has skewed arrest and prosecution philosophies, resulting primarily in having only male batterers criminally pursued.

Men want female rapists to be arrested, charged, and convicted with rape. In Western countries, women are rarely punished when raping men, due to the biased legal system. In some countries, women cannot be punished when raping men, since rape is defined as a male-perpetrated crime.

Feminists fought against this in India, arguing that “there is a physicality [in] rape” and that it would make things “more complicated for judges.”

Feminists fought against this in Israel, claiming that changing the law would result in men filing false rape claims.

Men don’t want to be thrown in jail because they lost their jobs and temporarily cannot pay child support.

Feminists fought against this, trying to lower the amount to $5000 before a man is guilty of a felony for not paying child support. If a man loses a decent-paying job, he will now be a felon, go to jail, lose his right to vote, AND be unable to find future jobs—if he cannot regain an equal-paying job within a few months.

Men want equal economic support and help from the government. When the recession hit, male-dominated fields like construction lost millions of jobs, while female-fields like education and healthcare gained jobs. So the government proposed an economic stimulus for those fields.

Feminists successfully fought against this, arguing that it was discrimination to support men, and caused the government to give money to women who didn’t deserve it. Hundreds of professional feminists complained against the “sexism” of helping men (who had lost jobs) and not women (who had gained jobs).

A representative of the Michigan National Organization for Women testified in opposition to the Revocation of Paternity Act, which stopped the old law which stated that if a woman was married and cheated on her husband, the resulting child is considered to be legally the husband’s and the biological father had no legal rights to fight for custody or parenting time with his biological child.

In 2008, a law was passed in England and Wales that allowed long-term domestic violence victims who killed their abuser to be charged with the lesser charge of manslaughter, but this only applies to women.

In California and Montana, a woman can name any man she likes as the father, he gets a letter in the mail, if he does not prove he isn’t the father within 30 days he is now the father and must payHe cannot contest it. And DNA tests to prove paternity are not considered proof by the courts.

Women who falsely accuse a man of rape, who would be sent to prison for 10+ years if convicted, only gets fined or a slap on the wrist.

There is also the gender bias in the Probation Departments:

A higher score on the Probation Assessment Tool (PAT) means a recommendation that could lead to eventual dismissal of charges. A lower score means probation or lockup, not to mention the juvenile delinquent tag. [Judge] Hunt claims PAT routinely rewards girls with 14 extra points for gender alone, while boys get 0.

Then there are studies that show women who fail to pay child support are incarcerated only 1/8th as often as men with similar violations.

The feminist definition of domestic violence has skewed arrest and prosecution philosophies, resulting in having mostly male batterers criminally pursued, and female batterers left alone.

Men who are falsely accused of rape can have their names published and their lives ruined even if they are not convicted or charged - their accuser is protected and is likely to face no punishment, or a light one.

And you seriously wonder why women don’t want to be a part of the feminist movement?
