So... you are increasing the amount of money for female only scholarships ( G.I.R.L.), and promoting the "ultimate goal of developing video games that are more interesting for women to play".
The thing is, the women who game find them plenty interesting. What you mean is you want to pander to the feminist lobby group - creating something that might meet with Anita Sarkeesian's approval - and that, as Brianna Wu discovered, is simply impossible.
These people hate games. Why? Because men like them. It's the same reason they hate superhero comics. They see it as a part of the enemy's culture. They see it in the same way as Nazis saw the Torah. You cannot appease them. There will NOT be peace in our time.
So what you are doing is taking the funds of people like me to try and pay off a lobby group that will ask for more and more until it has ruined you.
You see that as a sound business strategy? How does that work? To pay them, you have to pay someone else less - have less GMs, less debugging, less development.
You have a choice - be driven by an ideological agenda, or be driven by profit. I have to wonder how your investors would feel about your decision. Still, perhaps they'll be happy to lose their life savings on a feel good enterprise.

Dexella Community Relations :
No, anyone can apply for the program.
There's not even internal consistency in this program.
